Finding the Right Fit
Choosing the right size shouldn't be stressful.
Because Violet & Hawthorn uses a variety of thoughtfully selected patterns, measurements may vary slightly from style to style. For the most accurate fit, you'll find a size chart specific to each product on its individual product page.
Most styles fit true to size unless otherwise noted in the product description.
If your little one is between sizes or you'd like a little extra room to grow, I generally recommend sizing up.
How to Measure
For the most accurate fit, measure your child while standing naturally.
Height
Measure from the top of your child's head straight down to the floor.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the measuring tape comfortably snug under the arms.
Waist
Measure around your child's natural waistline, keeping the tape relaxed and not too tight.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips while your child stands with their feet together.
